Okay, so imagine coming home after a long hard day of work. And all you want to do is spend time with your sweet, precious little angels. And then you get the joy of trying to feed this one:

She's just so darn cute that it's impossible to get upset with her!!

Nana's Visit

Nana came to visit! The girls were so excited and had a great time with their Nana as well as Aunt Dorothy who was here visiting Cousin Jaime and Little Cousin Jacob also. A very nice visit was had by all. Here are a couple of pics from while Nana was here:

Braenna is 7 Months Old

Sorry I'm a little late on this post. It has been a long week here. Braenna turned 7 months on Wednesday. She's had kind of a rough month this last month. She was diagnosed with RSV the week before Christmas. We got her through that relatively quickly, but it was followed by a cold the week of Christmas. As soon as that went away for a few days, she got another really bad cold which we have been fighting this week. She has not been able to breath and not very interested in eating. She's coughing like crazy. Poor baby! We feel so bad for her, but they don't give anything to infants anymore for colds, so we just have to suffer through it.

She did have some fun this last month too. She really enjoyed Christmas time and all the lights, presents and colors. She's also learning to sit and getting stronger and stronger by the day. She's also eating both fruits and veggies now and has been enjoying the new tastes and textures. So far she's really liked everything she's eaten (Surprise, surprise...our kid likes to eat!) She has a great happy little personality (when she's not sick!) and is just a joy to be around.

Another Video

We wanted to share this video also from Christmas Eve. This one was taken after the first one I posted. The kids are yelling "Santa, Santa, Santa" and then Mikaiya says "I don't want Santa" followed by "He'll come back" a little bit later.

The best is when Nate tells them about how Santa only delivers toys when kids are snug in their beds. Just watch Rylie's reaction...it's pretty cute! Needless to say she was ready to go home not long after that!

Santa Has Jets!

This video is great. It's from Christmas Eve when the kids were outside putting out their reindeer food. Since it's kind of hard to understand toddlers when they're not yours, key comments of interest are:

At around 5 secs Rylie: "He went away. He went so fast!"
At around 10 secs Mikaiya: "There's another Santa!"
Right after that (Danny, Nate or Jeff): "Santa's got jets!"

Yep, you guessed it...the kids thought the planes flying overhead were in fact Santa. Gotta love it!
