Belly Shots...By Special Request

I got a special request for some updated belly shots. I haven't been taking them often because I'm not supposed to be up and about at all, but we do have a couple of new ones. I didn't know I could download from the camera onto my laptop until today, so I actually now have some updated pics to post. Here is me at 30 weeks:

As of my last appointment at 33.5 weeks, I was measuring 35 weeks. That's a good thing for baby since it looks like she may arrive early!

Yet Aother Update

I had another dr's appt today (seems constant, doesn't it??) and here's the most recent prognosis:

I am now a good 4 cm. The dr is officially worried that I may not make it to the 34 week mark (which is Monday). She's hopeful, but I am to do NOTHING for the weekend...like I've been busy runing around for the last few weeks or something!! Anyways, so my official off of bedrest come Monday is now cancelled until I go see her again Tuesday. She will then decide if I will get to be off bedrest at all the rest of this pregnancy. Needless to say, both Jeff and I are beyond frustrated as we were both REALLY looking forward to Monday when I could actually do something other than lay here.

So I'll be working hard this weekend at holding this little one in just a little bit longer! Wish me luck!

Test Results

My test results from Thursday were negative. That means that there is a 98% chance that I will not have the baby within the next two weeks. Now let's just hope that I'm not in the 2%!!

New Baby Update

I went to the dr this morning. They took a sample for another one of those tests that should say if I will not have the baby within 2 weeks. I asked a few more questions about it, and basically a negative result means that there is a 98% chance I will make it at least 2 more weeks. A positive result however is basically inconclusive and doesn't necessarily mean I will have the baby within 2 weeks. They don't expect the results back for a couple of days.

I am still having contractions and she wants to move up one of my doses of the anti-contraction medicine because I seem to have the most late afternoon and early evening. We'll see if taking the medicine a little earlier helps curb those. I have also progressed a little bit more and am now at 3 cm instead of 2. She doesn't seem that worried, and says we've done what we can at this point and are just going to have to wait it out to see what happens next. Hopefully we'll be waiting at least 2 more weeks!

Another Ultrasound

Well, we had another ultrasound today. All still looks good. There's been no change in my cervix length, but it is still significantly shorter than it should be at this point. Baby is doing well and is weighing in around 4 lbs 5 oz according to the ultrasound. The dr said that number is +/- .75 pound though, so not really all that accurate. I apologize for not having any pictures to post, but she printed us three and neither of us can identify what any of them actually are of, so we figure there is no point in posting them. They are really unclear.

Everything else is still going okay. The bedrest is definitely getting old, but I only have less than 2 weeks to go! More than halfway there now! After that if the little one is still not here I will be on house arrest for 2 weeks, and then after that I am free to do whatever I want! So, not too much longer to go here. Hopefully we at least make it to the 34 week mark. That's the goal!

We had Mikaiya's birthday, a visit from Nana and Pop, and a visit to Madison all in one month. Busy, busy! Enjoy the pics!
